    1. It’s hard to have a favorite because every version of that song I like love! Whitney Houston does a beautiful version and I love Carrie Underwood’s too.

  4. Oyster Stew at Christmas sounds so random to me (but nice!) - I think our Christmas dinners must be more like you have on Thanksgiving. I don't know any of those carols except for O Holy Night either, Will have to check them out! Thanks for the tag :)

    1. I don't really know where the tradition of the oyster stew came from but we've had it for Christmas Eve for as long as I can remember. Bring a Torch Jeanette, Isabella, is a French carol that was written in the 17th century and The Wexford Carol is an Irish carol that is actually considered the oldest Christmas carol in history.

  6. So happy you were able to fill this out and loved your answers!

Great carol selection and yes, I think I need to try oyster stew too.

(Also, so glad you thought of gold, I knew there was one I was forgetting xD -- and red and gold is so gorgeous. I noticed that's what you used for your type too, so pretty. Your whole Christmas blog look is just beautiful. ♥️)

    1. Thank you! It was a lot of fun.

I always prefer more traditional, lesser known carols. Especially those with a history behind them. Oyster stew is such a comfort food on a cold night!

Thank you so much! The Christmas blog theme is always my favorite theme, but also the hardest. The text are lyrics from The Wexford Carol that was written as a song of solace to the Irish during difficult times. I find it to be fitting for the year that we've had.

Just be kind. I don't tolerate any rudeness at all. So just be careful with what you write and how you write it.
