In honor of Valentine's Day on Sunday, I decided to post the wedding scenes from some of my favorite movies : )
~ ~ ~
1). The Scarlet Pimpernel (1982)
Wedding of Sir Percival Blakeney and Marguerite St. Just
One of the most romantic movies of all times surely holds the title for one of the most beautiful wedding scenes ever filmed!
2). The Sound of Music
Wedding of Captain Georg von Trapp and Maria
Just all around memorable and stunning! From Maria's wedding gown, to how handsome Georg looked in his uniform...ahhhh I love it!
3.) A Walk To Remember
Wedding of Landon Carter and Jamie Sullivan
I remember seeing this movie when I was 10 or 11 and just being captivated by such a simple, but strong love story that can happen to anyone. Everything about this wedding completely captured who Landon and Jamie were.
OMG!!!! Alex is back! Where's Logan? Moira is back! Where's Logan?? Peter is back!!! Where's Logan!?!? Sansa Stark has an American accent!! Still wondering where Logan is!?!? We finally get to see how Charles lost his hair! (Weeps silently for the loss of Jame's McAvoy's beautiful hair) I don't want this story be all about Jennifer Lawrence However, I wouldn't care as long as... Logan shows up!!!
This great video celebrates the lives of the five missionaries Jim Elliot, Pete Fleming, Ed McCulley, Roger Youdarian & Nate Saint who were massacred in Ecuador by the Auca Indians on January 8, 1956 and of the noble Olympic runner Eric Liddell who made headlines at the 1924 Olympics in Paris, France when he refused to run on a Sunday. Video clips from: Through Gates of Splendor (2005), Chariots of Fire (1981) and At The End of The Spear (2005)
I love Josh Groban! I've been listeing to him since I was about 9 or 10 years old and it's impossible to choose a favorite song, but this Spanish love song would definitely be a top favorite.
I was scrolling around on Pinterest when I came across some gifs that were from deleted scenes from Captain America: The First Avenger. There's only three, but two of them were great and really should have been left in the movie.
While Steve tours the U.S.A. as Captain America, Sergeant Barnes (Bucky) and the 107th (and soon-to-be Howlin' Commandos) are captured by HYDRA
Colonel Philips chews Steve's ass (sort of) for not receiving his medal of honor and Howard Stark tries to identify HYDRA's weapon. (I loved this scene!!)
YAHHH! I can tell that the movie is going to be different from the book, but I think I might enjoy that because the book was really complex and very disjointed at certain points. So hopefully there will be a stronger and steadier story flow. As long as they keep the primary storyline of Thomas' mental and psychological progression.
Both of these look absolutely amazing! To be honest, I'm mostly excited for X-Men, seeing as that was the first comic book fandom I got into then followed by Batman. Captain America looks like it's going to take an interesting look into S.H.I.E.L.D and see what it's really becoming and that is going to be great to watch, maybe becoming more political than just superheros in action.
Even though the song itself is completely different from the actual context of the Eloi people from the book, it still has a beautiful message. I'm not sure what the traditional language is, some people say it's an archaic language of sorts, but either way it made for a beautiful song.

In H.G. Wells novel "The Time Machine" Eloi, in its most basic term, is a people group that has become lazy and narcissistic, caring nothing for anyone or anything but themselves. In the movie, which is very different from the book, the Eloi are a hardworking tribal people who are trying to hold onto a sense of civilization, especially when under constant threat of the morlocks.
Oh yeah, and the movie is really good too! I haven't seen it in a while, but it's great action/sci-fi watch.!
Remember that video I posted last month of Tom Hiddleston dressed up as Loki for Comic Con 2013? Well, I managed to find a better high quality video that has the entire performance!
Tom talking about the fan's reactions to his cosplay character : )
Words cannot describe how beautiful I find this song!
Start of Time
by Gabrielle Aplin
Oh today I'm just a drop of water And I'm running down a mountainside Come tomorrow I'll be in the ocean I'll be rising with the morning tide
There's a ghost upon the moor tonight Now it's in our house When you walked into the room just then It's like the sun came out
I'm an atom in a sea of nothing Looking for another to combine Maybe we could be the start of something Be together at the start of time
There's a ghost upon the moor tonight Now it's in our house When you walked into the room just then It's like the sun came out It's like the sun came out
And the day is clear My voice is just a whisper Louder than the screams you hear It's like the sun came out It's like the sun came out It's like the sun came out It's like the sun came out..
Tom Hiddleston in his typical amazing glory arrived at Comic-Con 2013 in San Diego, California, dressed up as Loki to introduce new footage for "Thor 2: The Dark World."
I first heard it during the death/funeral scene of of King Baldwin IV in "Kingdom of Heaven," and have loved it ever since.
Here's another version done by one of my favorite musical artists, Sarah Brightman.
I have loved her and her voice since I was a child. She's incredible.
Never knew I could feel like this Like I've never seen the sky before Want to vanish inside your kiss Every day I love you more and more
Listen to my heart, can you hear it sings? Telling me to give you everything Seasons may change, winter to spring But I love you until the end of time
Come what may Come what may I will love you until my dying day
Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place Suddenly it moves with such a perfect grace Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste It all revolves around you
And there's no mountain too high No river too wide Sing out this song and I'll be there by your side Storm clouds may gather, And stars may collide But I love you (I love you) Until the end of time(until the end of time)
Come what may Come what may I will love you until my dying day
Oh, come what may, come what may I will love you, Oh I will love you Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place
Come what may Come what may I will love you until my dying day

I am seriously obsessed with this song right now!
And this rendition in nothing short of breathtaking!
