Ohh! We get to do favorite character today! It's impossible to have a favorite character in this series! However, it narrows down to the person you can either identify the most with or drive to be most like. For me it was between Staff Sergeant/2nd Lieutenant Carwood Lipton or Army Medic, Eugene "Doc" Roe. Both wonderful men, with similar personalities (to mine) and both quietly did their job expecting nothing in return, but to simply do what needed to be done.

Day 2 - One Character
Eugene “Doc” Roe
Easy Company’s pragmatic Cajun medic who devotes all his energy and resources to care for the wounded and dying. Doc Roe has always been a popular character in the Band of Brothers series and rightfully so. Even though he can have the temperament of a silent ticking time bomb, Eugene’s genuine warmth and comfort he gives to people never goes unnoticed. At times, his faith is his only foundation for his sanity. Yet even he is not above the mental trauma that is created by daily warfare. He moves on though. Even when he is cold, hungry, exhausted and emotionally drained, Eugene does his duty with all his strength and all his heart.
Characters who are doctors are almost always my favorites. They are so kind and caring!
